Unable to get full address when downloading file

I want to send mail as an attachment from HTML pages to the mail server, but whenever I download any file from an HTML page, I do not get its full address. I just get its final name. How can I include my HTML page to track the full address of my file? Should I do something special for this?

You cannot get the full path to the downloaded file. This is a security risk with which browsers have recently pinched.

I suppose you are referring to the file upload as HTML.

The resulting file name may or may not contain the full path, depending on your web browser. For example, there are differences between downloading from Firefox rather than Internet Explorer.
