Although we will have to wait at least two or three decades until we can see a practical QC, it seems that theoretical studies are significantly improved (studies using the free QLC language are good examples). However, this makes us expect large companies and corporations to build (possibly secretly) quantum software: is everyone striving to gain leadership in this area?
