Why does Oracle not have foreign keys in Oracle Apps / E-Business Suite?
I noticed that Oracle does not / does not use referential restrictions for Oracle Apps 11i Schema. All logic is contained in PL / SQL packages.
It seems strange, coming from the main DBMS.

I believe that the main reason for not using strong reference restrictions is that this set must deal with obsolete data during installation. In most cases, you import historical data into ERP, and this data may be incomplete.

I don’t think that you should consider e-business design as a reference model, as it is voluntarily left incomplete (so that you can customize it to your needs).
