Javascript ken ken puzzle generator

Heloo,

I need to create a ken ken puzzle in javascript .. but don't know where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what I will do:

  • Write the jenavas ken ken interactive app for human solvers. This applies to the GUI part of your project.
  • Write an automatic solver for ken ken. You still have to do this because you want to ensure that your generated puzzles have unique solutions so that they are "correct."
  • Once you have done this, you can write a puzzle generator. There is a lot of reading you can do on this subject to find out how others did it in general. The approach usually works with a lot of puzzles in this class.

A great example of a framework for generating and solving puzzles in this class is the Simon Tatham Portable Puzzle Collection . This one has implementations so far 32 puzzles on top of the same structure. In fact, he already has an implementation of KenKen ( link to the source code on the CBN ).

You can first fill out the entire grid, divide them into different subsections, and then get the relationships between the numbers in the ... reverse engineering section.
