I start with several large PHP projects for which I need bug tracking, Wiki and Subversion features.
For this I used a virtual server running Windows Server and to install Trac / SVN, but this year I plan to move to another country, so I want to close this server and transfer it to the virtual machine on my workstation at the moment.
Seeing that I still need to create a new environment, I would like to take this opportunity and try Redmine, which I have been looking at for some time for a number of reasons. bitnami package promises to give me the necessary bliss for quick and quick pressing.
What I would like to learn from someone with experience in Redmine is:
- If I start creating a project environment on a local virtual machine, can I easily transfer them to the Redmine hosting provider (or the server running redmine) later? I am sure that there are tools for export and all, but how difficult will it be in practice? On a scale of 1 (nightmare) to 10 (click here, upload there, do it)?
ruby redmine
