I am trying to customize a project template file exported by the Visual Studio Export Template wizard. At first glance, it looks like just a zip file for a garden, but itβs not:
- I cannot edit files. If I try to change or delete or replace the file in the zip archive, I get
The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted. - If I decode and recompress the zip file, Visual Studio will no longer recognize it as a template.
Is this something specific to my installation, or is there something non-standard regarding the zip format used by Visual Studio templates?
I tried again, but actually # 2 above - this is wrong - I can unlock, edit and archive it again, and VS will see the template. Still at a standstill why I could not directly manipulate the source archive, but I continue.
