Get graphics to draw nodes over the edges

Is there a way to make graphviz always draw nodes over the edges, even if the edge is drawn on top (or, preferably, below) of the node?

So far, I tried to arrange them and various parameters of the layer, but did not find a way that works.

You need to specify outputorder="edgesfirst" . This can be found in the documentation .
