Lost Certificate for Published Application

I have a free application published on the Android market. I have lost the certificate used to sign the current version, but I want to publish an updated version. The Android market refuses to accept my update because it is signed with a new certificate. I understand that users will have to uninstall the current version in order to receive the update, but it is not clear how to get the updated version to the market so that current users can find it.

What are my options?

Thanks,

John

The only option is to change the description of the old application, which will point to your new application, and hope that existing users will notice it.
