Install Intel TBB 3.0 Platform on MacOS 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

Question

I'm having trouble installing Intel Threading Building Blocks (TBB) 3.0 as the platform on my MacOS system. Does anyone know a good tutorial? I tried using MacPorts, which has TBB 2.2: it installs all the libraries that I need, but I do not get the framework. In addition, Intel does not have a .dmg installation file that could provide this infrastructure. All files to download are zip files containing src code or binary files.

Any ideas?
