Programming books in ePub format

I bought an iPad, hoping to read books on it that have been aging for months on my desk, but it turned out that there are no programming books on the iBookstore.

Are there any books in ePub format (Python, PHP, jQuery)? Converting from pdf to epub is not an option, because formatting is lost in the process.

You can buy all O'Reilly books directly from your site in ePub and many other formats. It should work fine on the iPad (not have one).

Pragmatic Programmers ( http://pragprog.com/ ) publishes many good and excellent programming books, all of which are available in ePub format from their Web site. You can purchase text, number or mix (where digital is available both in epub format and in pdf format).

However, I am a little afraid of their contents regarding python, php or jquery. These are mainly ruby, ruby ​​on rails, iphone / mac, as well as common problems and programming methods. However, the content is great.

Should there be an ePub format?

Here in Australia, the iBookstore is mostly completely naked, with the exception of books from copyright (Illidad, Bible, etc.). I understand that they are still negotiating with publishers.

The Apple store guy told me, oh, that's not a problem, download the free Kindle app and just buy your books from Amazon, they have a much better range anyway.
