Does anyone know a wrapper for the AddressBook structure that makes it more usable?
Yes, Erica Sadun has developed an amazing Objective-C address book shell infrastructure.
I personally used it in my projects, and I can confirm that it works very well.

I know two, but have not used them.
I am currently using iPhoneContacts and it works great.
