Search Java forum platforms seamlessly integrate with existing custom tables

Question

I am looking for a Java forum that integrates seamlessly with an existing website.

I currently have tables for users (including columns for passwords and email, etc.) and just wanted to add a forum.

From http://java-source.net/open-source/forum-software I found them:

• Javabb
• jGossip
• JsForum
• Nemesis Forum
• mvnForum
• Yazd
• Freeforums
• Sk forum
• Jforumfusion

The best candidates currently are: JForum, Jive, mvnForum and Yazd.

My question is, does anyone have experience with any of these or some other forum mechanisms, and especially with integration with existing user tables?

For reference, JForum really fulfilled all my requirements. Their single sign-on (SSO) system works like a charm and gives me the right to decide which username and password pairs are valid. No special cookies are required, just my good old session map.
