Scala Comets and Mobile Applications

Question

I am studying using Scala with Comet tools for my next project, and I was curious if anyone had experience using a comet (not necessarily Scala) with:

• WebOS
• Android
• IOS

All these phones are WebKit, which should mean that my tests on Chrome will work equally well, but I don’t know how long-distance users work on 3G (or they are battery powered).

Thoughts?

This seems to indicate empirical evidence related to battery beating, although for a slightly different reason.
