How to resize JQGrid edit dialog?

In the JQGrid grid, when you select a row and press the edit button, a dialog box appears allowing you to enter information in the fields of that row. How do you determine the default height, width and location in the dialog that appears?

According to the docs for editing the form, you can use the following parameters:

  • top - the initial top position of the modal dialog. The default value of 0 means the upper position in the upper left corner of the grid. When the jqModal option is correct (see below) and the jqModal plugin is present, any value other than 0 means the top position in the upper left corner of the window.

  • left - the initial left position of the modal dialog. The default value of 0 means the left position from the upper left corner of the grid. When the jqModal option is correct (see below) and the jqModal plugin is present, any value other than 0 means the left position in the upper left corner of the window.

  • width - width of the confirmation dialog

  • height - the height of the entry in the confirmation dialog box
