Rails 3 git generator option?

Question

In rails 2.x, I can pass the parameter - git./script/generate to automatically add files to git after creation. However, I could not find such an option (or configuration) in Rails 3.0.

Was it really deleted or am I missing something? I tried to research this for a while, but I can not find any links.

It does not have this option, although the standard "rails new" command generates .gitignore and .gitkeep files for you.

Otherwise, I think you need to create a git project yourself.
