Is there a link to Windows Phone 7?

Are there any reliable help apps for Windows Phone 7 that showcase the core APIs and best practices for Windows Phone 7 + Silverlight?

In particular, I think that there are several basic concepts that are not well documented or well thought out. Instead of returning to the framework, I would like to better understand how they should work in Windows Phone 7.

  • Navigation - Navigation between pages, especially the transfer of status information (such as viewing mode)
  • MVVM - I know there are frameworks there, but I would like to see its pure reference implementation.
  • Structure - I am curious how best to organize the application, resources, etc.

Is there anything that really covers these concepts? I have looked at countless websites talking about them, but no one really has elegant solutions.

Although for the beta I found the "Build the Newsreader" labs from the Swiss DPE team to be easy to understand in the basics of design, data processing and push notifications. As Dennis mentioned, I maintain a list of resources for Windows Phone 7 developers . You can follow the # wp7dev tag on Twitter for the latest news and announcements on Windows Phone 7.

MSDN has a number of Code Examples for Windows Phone that explain many of the concepts and basic controls you need to understand when designing for a phone.

The Windows Phone 7 Developer Tutorial also includes many complete examples that not only show how to develop for WP7, but also good ways to host and structure your applications.

There are also a number of applications (of varying quality) on codeplex , which can also be useful / interesting.
