RegEx in Sublime Text: matching any character, including newlines?

Is there a way to match any character in Sublime Text, including newlines? I saw that Sublime uses Boost syntax but character . will not match newlines without a specific set of flags.

Try adding the inline flag (?s) , starting at the beginning of the template. This will lead to that . will match any character.
