Mac OS X Virtual Machine

I would like to develop an application for the iPhone, but I do not have a Mac. I would like to know if it is possible to rent a virtual machine with Mac OS so that I can develop on this machine. Does anyone offer this service? Doesn't that make sense because I couldn’t connect my phone to this machine?

Or maybe I could rent a Mac.

Or the third option is to run Mac OS X in a virtual machine on my Windows laptop. Is it possible?

Of course, you can run OS X in VM on Windows - the latest version of VirtualBox is able to run Snow Leopard.

As the cheapest way to get into iOS, I bought an iPod Touch and got a VirtualBox. I now have two apps approved on the App Store. However, as soon as they have accumulated enough money, I will buy a Mac - there is no sound in the virtual virtual machine (although the last VirtualBox can make a sound, I have not dealt with it yet), I can not match the Mac Control Key on the keyboard (so no keyboard shortcuts do not work) and it is a bit sluggish (on my Core i7 PC with 12GB RAM).

To summarize - the cheapest option is to upgrade to a virtual machine, but you'll probably find that you want a Mac in the end, so it's easiest to upgrade to a Mac Mini.

It's probably best to just unlock and buy a Mac Mini , then you can use your existing monitor, mouse, and keyboard, and that's pretty OK, the price is reasonable. Moreover, application development often also means preserving it in the future.

You can try macincloud.com . $ 20 a month for a couple of hours a day is not so bad.

It is not correct to install Mac OS X on a virtual machine that does not support Mac. I think you get a Mac, remember that a Mac can install Windows natively ( BootCamp ). So you really buy a Windows machine and a Mac computer.

If you're ready to get your hands dirty, you can install Mac operating systems on VirtualBox . VirtualBox does not officially support it because it is not legal. Google and follow the instructions.

A Mac Mini is a cheap solution and allows you to develop your applications.

The current Mac Mini uses Penryn's dual-core 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo processor, clocked at 2.4 or 2.66 GHz.

No one recommends you a hackintosh .
