Kdevelop no valid executable

I just installed kdevelop 4.1 and then created a normal hi world, the assembly is fine, but when I click execute it gives me (without a valid executable) any idea?

Meh, launch configuration is our biggest usability problem ...

  • Go to Run β†’ Configure Launches
  • select the project on the left.
  • press the "+" button
  • right, select the project goal
  • optionally add a build dependency (select your target again, for example).

which should be that.

  • Go to the section "Run" β†’ "Configuration of the current launch"
  • select the name of the current file you are trying to compile.
