Kdevelop no valid executable

Question

I just installed kdevelop 4.1 and then created a normal hi world, the assembly is fine, but when I click execute it gives me (without a valid executable) any idea?

Meh, launch configuration is our biggest usability problem ...

• Go to Run → Configure Launches
• select the project on the left.
• press the "+" button
• right, select the project goal
• optionally add a build dependency (select your target again, for example).

which should be that.

After completing the steps provided by milianw. If it does not work, follow these steps:

• Go to the section "Run" → "Configuration of the current launch"
• select the name of the current file you are trying to compile.
