VS2010 Crystal-Reports: "Invalid Keycode"

In the inherited product, I successfully switched to VS2010 about a month ago: when I open it today and try to start the Crystal Reports editor, I get an "Invalid Keycode" error message and a blank editor screen.

VS2010 Windows 7, 64b

Most of the tips point me to "Reinstall VS2010," but I also found a few forum posts that indicated a code fix or registry change. I tried a few of them, but I still have a bug.

You need to uninstall Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 - Beta x and install the release version, which can be downloaded using: http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/cr4vs2010/CRforVS_13_0.exe .

Crystal Reports is no longer included in VS2010. I suspect this may have something to do with this. Here 's a blog post from the company that now owns it, which tells you why you should be happy with it. I don’t really understand, but again I don’t understand why companies like SAP are still in business.

According to SENC4ME, you can try to change the date of your system, change it to November / 01/2010. I had the same problem y when I changed the date the problem was fixed.

I suffered from this problem for the last 2 days. I think this problem occurred before installing Visual studio 2008. I initially installed Visual Studio 2010 and Crystal report V13. Back up the business object registry files by right-clicking on the business object, then select export, and then execute the registry file on the target machine. If your OS is installed in a different directory, you need to change the path and the shared directory.

Reinstalling / repairing Visual Studio is the only thing that helped me.

Reinstalling Crystal Reports 13.0.18 works for me, but I have to do it after any session in VS2010 where I touch on reports. Next time I try, I will get msgbox Invalid Keycode. It is mildly annoying, to say the least.
