Ads on the application page for Facebook (games)

I am working on a facebook application and wondering how to monetize it. I am new to FB and even to the advertising market. What is my best bet for advertising revenue? I mean, which provider should I use? Can i use adsense? What are my options? Thanks for your suggestions.

In response to a little privacy (see: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/10/18/facebook_apps_privacy_breach/ ), Facebook has tightened its advertising privacy policy and created an officially approved list of advertising providers here: http : //developers.facebook.com/adproviders/ , which lists advertising service providers who have agreed to abide by Facebook’s privacy policies.

I recently did a few searches on the Facebook developer forums and found that RockYou and LifeStreet Media appear to be the most frequently cited providers.

AdSense is currently not listed, but many apps use AdSense.

There is currently Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD) about whether using AdSense in the Facebook app will close your AdSense account and whether this app will be blocked by Facebook.

Those who believe that AdSense may prohibit you from often claiming that AdSense prohibits advertising in the iframe is the only way to do this as a Facebook application. I have read the adsense terms and can not find links to iframes that are prohibited. AdSense expects your page to have meaningful content that appears to preclude use in some games or other apps that lack text content (think of clean flash apps)
