I am an iOS developer who came to Mac. In iOS, we can implement the applicationSignificantTimeChange: method applicationSignificantTimeChange: in our application deletion or register a UIApplicationSignificantTimeChangeNotification notification to respond to changes in system time.
I can not find the equivalent on a Mac. How can I observe significant changes in system time (examples: changing user time (zone), switching from / to daylight saving time) in OS X (except for starting a timer that fires every second or so)?
