Ruby on rails problems on geroku

I am working on uploading my RoR3 site to Heroku.

Took me to lift it. This seems to work pretty well, but when I try to create a project (my site manages donation projects), I get the following message:

We're sorry, but something went wrong. We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly.

I don't know why this works on my localhost.

Usually, when I had this problem, it was because I forgot to start db migrations in Heroku.

In the terminal in the rails application folder, run this:

 heroku rake db:migrate
