Should I use Drupal 6 or Drupal 7?

As indicated in the header:

Should I use Drupal 6 or Drupal 7?

See, the dilemma here is convenience. I need to develop a website for the client, and I encountered a rather difficult problem with Drupal 7. The module does not work there, an error is displayed here, there are no 7.x versions available for the necessary modules, and so on. So, can anyone give a few brief points, why should I or should not use Drupal 7?

The list of pros and cons would also be awesome.

Thanks!

If you really want to develop and maintain a minimum level of service, stick with Drupal 6. It has been widely tested by the community and the API documentation has been completed (so this is Drupal 7s, but with an error ). Even if you want to use the available modules, most of them will not be stable until several months from now. I plan to make the transition at least 6 months after the release date, being in the middle of this year. This is a great thing in Drupal: updating is always supported, and you never have to do the installation from scratch.

I would advise you to keep track of current errors, marked major and critical, and then decide

At the moment, we are sticking to D6. We are waiting for the Views and Panels modules to install some of them and then be reevaluated.

I think it really depends on whether you create a website for yourself or create websites for customers who pay a fixed fee. In fixed-payment projects, D7 is still a little risky until the modules become more mature.
