Best Time Format for R

Possible duplicate:
Which R-class and time / time package to use?

Hello,

I want to use the date format for R, but there are so many packages that have their own format, which I lost a little.

I thought to use the POSIXct / POSIXlt format. It is the best (flexible enough to use)

Thanks FRED

Date and POSIXct are the basic types of R and are recommended.

Packages such as zoo or xts use these types for indexing. Other packages, such as lubridate , use them to calculate and analyze dates.

So your intuition was correct: use Date and POSIXct .
