Bash, zenity progress indicator without cancellation

A small bash script is being developed, my needs is a progress bar that don’t click the cancel button. I looked into the zenity progress bar, but did not find a way to get rid of the cancel button.

The absence of a cancel button is an entity because it will completely collapse the progress bar. I saw a terminal-based progress indicator, but since I use zenity for all other cases, I also want to use it for the progress bar.

Any problems how to solve my problem? Any other progress indicators, or is it possible to get rid of the cancel button?

zenity supports the --no-cancel flag, which removes the cancel button.

For me, see zenity --help-progress .
