How do I get rid of a click?

I took a project that uses ClickOnce deployment, but we decided to abandon it and rather do it through the Nullsoft installer.

I looked through the project properties and did not select everything related to ClickOnce, but still the exe file calls me that “Program indentity was not installed” or something like that (message language is not English, so sorry for the possible shitty translation)

Does anyone know how I can get rid of ClickOnce 100% for my application?

The best way is probably to create a new clean solution and copy the necessary source files there. Also, if there are several traces left, you can see them when creating, you will get errors.

I never used it, but I think you should first remove the links to it in the project, and you should check the publication tab in the project properties.

You can uncheck the "Security" tab of your project properties, which says "Enable ClickOnce security settings", and uncheck the "Signing" tab, which says "Sign the ClickOnce manifest." I suppose you can also delete the information in the Options dialog box.

Note that not a single ClickOnce element is used unless you actually publish your application, so its presence there does not hurt anything.
