Standards mode in IE7 with HTML5?

Is there a way to start standards mode in IE7 when using an HTML5 document?

My document starts as follows:

F12 opens developer tools in IE 9. Alt + 7, Alt + 8 and Alt 9 will allow you to switch between browser versions. There are also menus that allow you to change both document modes and standards.

A few things:

If you are trying to view the DOM tree using developer tools and switch between different versions in compatibility mode, you should know that you need to be updated every time you switch modes. Otherwise, you will not be able to see the tree.

In addition, these emulations are not quite similar to the original browsers. It’s actually not possible to see how a “different browser will display” the page if you are not in another browser.

I recommend using browsershots.org . It is free and requires no download. If you want to get very complex, there are other options. However, I recommend browsers. Just be careful to get a couple of images back, and a maximum daily limit is required. You can increase it a little by registering your account.

Use the <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7"/> in the section of the chapter.
