Mac Application Testing

Is there a website or service that I can use to test apps for apps for Mac apps? I saw macdeveloper.net, but since it costs money, I want to make sure that there are no other services that would be better. Thanks!

I used macdeveloper.net about 2 years ago for a Mac app (yes, there were Mac apps even before the Mac App Store).
It was a really great experience. The feedback from the beta testers was excellent in quality and quantity. This helped me detect and correct some very subtle errors. This is great because I did not want real users to come across them.

I believe that the price required for the service (less than $ 20) is very reasonable:

  • Think about how much it will cost you if at least one error is not found before the App Store, and the user will post a very negative review because of this.
  • The infrastructure provided to facilitate the beta phase is excellent. The time saved was enough to make me feel that it was worth it. I prefer to spend my time coding and improve my marketing than solving problems that someone has solved better than me.
  • When I had questions, support responded very quickly, with large and relevant answers.

Have you tried: https://github.com/CodeFacet/COMBAT + Accessibility inspector (developer tools in Xcode)

It is still under development, but a great tool to work with. :)

This is written in Objective-C, so you can use its libraries inside Xcode only with the Unit Testing project.

So, the best test management and simple test case writing.

PS: it also works with simulators, so you can even test iOS applications
