Updating a Problem Using WPF.NET 4.0 - Black Vertical Lines

I have an application that was originally written in WPF targeting the 3.5 framework. We recently updated our target environment 4.0. Now, when the user opens the window, most of the time they get black vertical lines that appear in the window. Lines in front of some controls and others. This is intermittent. These are really seams, like some kind of redrawing problem, as soon as they move the window a bit, the lines go away. I cannot find any link to such an error anywhere, and I am at a standstill to try and solve it. The PC on which our users work is powerful enough. All of them have at least dual-core processors, 8-gigabyte and solid-state hard drives. We also tried updating to the latest video drivers.

Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks.

I do not have enough reputation to upload an image, so here is a link to one that I saved on the Internet.

This is very similar to driver issues. I would recommend trying to turn off hardware acceleration in the graph and see if the problem goes away. If so, report it as an error for the video card vendor - I hope the future driver will fix the problem.
