Getting started with CouchDB

Question

I have CouchDB installed on my Linux cloud server and am trying to access the Futon Welcome Screen. O'Reilly book says to go to "127.0.0.1:portnum", but I do not work on localhost, this is my remote server, so I have to use "xxx.xxx.xxx.x: portnum", (my remote address) to access Futon? This does not work, do I need a virtual host or something like that? Thanks.

Go to your local.ini file. (possibly in /etc/couchdb ) and set bind_address to 0.0.0.0 (i.e. all IP addresses) or specify another IP address that you use on your local network (privately) or via the Internet. (Public)
