Annoying Eclipse automatically closes quotes

I always found that automatic closed quotation marks and eclipse parentheses are useless. For example, clicking on one will result in

"<cursor>"

I do not need a second quote. It is annoying to remove afterwards. How to disable this feature?

Update: Now I have enabled this setting. If you type another quote, it will break through.

Try Window โ†’ Preferences โ†’ Java โ†’ Editor โ†’ Entering and unchecking the "Strings" checkbox in the "Automatically close" group.

You need to disable this feature for all editors: Go to the "Preferences" section and enter "enter" in the "Type file type" field. Then click on each result and deselect all unwanted automatic closures.

Jump out of quotes by simply pressing Enter when you are finished typing the contents of the string (at least in the java editor).

The location of the similar auto-scan features in PyDev for eclipse is: Windows โ†’ PyDev โ†’ Editor โ†’ Enter โ†’ "Automatically close letters."

To enable enter to exit the quotation mark, check "Enable link to automatic brackets or close literals."

You can also click on the quote when you want to exit autocomplete. This will take you beyond the scope of the quote, as if you yourself closed it. Thus, this function does not really disrupt the programming flow.
