How to make a mobile application for Android DLNA?

I have a task to make a DLNA application for Android, as shown in the following video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5GnqvV-eu4

I need to implement Digital Media Controller and Digital media server in my application, but I do not know where to start. Is there any open api for this?

What is the best way to achieve this?

Thanks in advance and yes, I lost a little in this problem: P

There is no api that I know of. You must implement all the functions yourself - starting from the lowest level, for example, when processing network connections and streaming data. In addition, to meet DLNA standards, there is still much to be done, and in my experience it is quite a lot. To get started, you may need to register as a member of DLNA (http://www.dlna.org), and then you can access all the documentation for the specification / requirements that describes how it should work.

You can use Cling (library / Java / Android UPnP tools). This is freeware licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License.

See Chapter 5, β€œCling on Android,” in the user guide.

You can use CyberLink. Github has an open source project. DLNA_Sample

Try Intel DLNA Tools

They can instantly create an Android application with DLNA glass.
