How to change the style of the graphical interface of Delphi?

OK I am not very good at delphi, but I did a few projects and usually had the typical style of Windows components:

I was working on a project that I started with some demo code, but the style is completely disabled, as can be seen from this button:

I am not sure why this is different as I use identical components. Is there some kind of project setting that I can change to bring my normal stuff back to this app?

Yes. Open Project -> Options -> Application and check the box "Enable runtime tags", and this should fix it for you.
