How to install a .CSI file for signing a code and upload an application to BlackBerry?

I have developed a PhoneGap application which I intend to deploy on my BlackBerry Bold 9700. My development tools include NotePad ++, Apache Ant, Sun JDK and BlackBerry WebWorks SDK, as dictated on this page here http: //www.phonegap. com / start # blackberry .

I applied for the signing of the keys from the Blackberry website and received the .CSI file by email. The letter contains instructions on the various methods of processing the .CSI file, but none of the methods explains how to do this with the current tools that I installed.

Is there an easy way to continue my .CSI file without installing Eclipse, Visual Studio, or any other IDE? If so, can someone say step by step what to do?

Hope you have a solution for this. I had the same problems. Hope my solution will work for everyone.

After receiving the * .csi files from Blackberry, you need to install them on your computer. For those of you who use Ant to create the apps described here http://www.phonegap.com/start#blackberry . it will work.

SignatureTool.jar is required to install * .csi files on your computer. It is located in the c: \ BBWP \ bin directory.

Then copy all * .csi files to the above directory and execute this command sequentially from the terminal.

c: \ BBWP \ bin> SignatureTool.jar-RBB-2053305203.csi client

c: \ BBWP \ bin> Client SignatureTool.jar-RCR-2053305203.csi

c: \ BBWP \ bin> Client SignatureTool.jar-RRT-2053305203.csi

If you do not have a private key, you need to create one. And use the pin number that you used during the registration process. Installation is simple, you will not have any problems with it.

Hope this helps someone

thanks

Try the BlackBerry Ant tools . It uses Ant, so you need it, but it's pretty easy.
