Forward domain email to AppEngine email reception service?

I would like to have emails in this domain, say http://mydomain.com/ , processed by the AppEngine application, call him http://emailprocessor.appspot.com/ .

Thus, an email to the address " hello@mydomain.com " must be received and processed by email at mailprocessor.appspot.com, as if it were an email to the address " hello@emailprocessor.appspot.com ".

I suppose I can do this through MX records for my mydomain.com domain, but I cannot find instructions anywhere.

Is this possible, and if so, configure it?

What I did was to point the MX record to a server that allows forwarding of the email domain. You can then forward all emails to mailprocessor.appspotmail.com.

The advantage of this is that you catch all usernames: hello@mydomain.com , goodbye@mydomain.com , etc.

If your host has cPanel see this: http://www.siteground.com/tutorials/email/email_domain_forwarding.htm

There is also no direct support for this in accordance with the documentation.

BUT

if your http://mydomain.com/ is hosted on Google apps and you create the user hello@mydomain.com as a gmail account and configure the email forwarding rule on it to hello@emailprocessor.appspotmail.com it should work, since it works for any general email sending email. It saves the original headers such as sender, etc.

I am pretty sure that most other mail services or servers can support this feature. check the documentation of your postal service.

Pay ATTENTION! this should be emailprocessor.appspotmail.com note appspotmail.com not appspot.com

I have not tried myself yet, so I will be happy if you confirm that this works. Again, it is necessary.

No, support for receiving mail in a user domain is not registered .

You will need to place the mail in another place and set up forwarding to the address mailprocessor.appspotmail.com.
