Is there a maximum hard drive height for Chrome browser pop-ups?

I cannot make the Chrome extension browser extension taller than 600 pixels. (I control it through document.body.style.height). Is this a hard-set maximum? I am testing Chrome v12.0.742.122 on OS X Lion.

Yes it is. Width is also limited to 800px. However, it is not indicated anywhere in the documents.
