Add an item for in-app purchases after the app is available in the app store without updating the app.

I downloaded one of my apps before two weeks, and now it is available in the app store. He has 2 in-app purchases. In the logic of purchasing applications completely from a remote server, since we wanted to add a new package without updating the binary file, so we did everything on the server side.

So here is my question. Now I want to add a new package. so here is my confusion / question.

I made the entire In purchase ID in the inventory.xml file to check in the application id. and I only show items that are valid from the app store.

In addition, when a user buys a package, I download the contents from the server, and after a successful purchase they will have a new package.

So, how can I make it available to Apple for presentation purposes without making it available to the general public? That is, if I add a new package to the inventory.xml file, which lists all the packages, everyone can see it before Apple even approves it. But if I do not add a new package to inventory.xml, then Apple will not have anything to approve.

Thanks at Advance.

I found the answer to this question from other sources. Therefore, I post it here that I found, and I believe that this is the correct answer. It is my opinion that this may be wrong.

So, in my situation, I can add a new item to my inventory.xml file, as well as to my iTunes account and put it in a new item for review.

The reason the public (users) will not see my new package is because I only show valid products that I received from SKProductResponse. Therefore, during the review process, it will not be a valid product, and it will not be displayed in the list of available items to users.

Now, we can see this with the Apple Tester, because we both use the In-app test user account to test new items, and I believe that the user account for checking applications returns the entire product as valid.

So, from this thread, I decided to move forward with this and hopefully it should work.

When you submit new purchases to the app on Apple, you upload screenshots and descriptions of the new content to iTunes Connect. That should be all it takes to verify, and you can wait for the inventory.xml file to be updated until they approve the new content.
