Is there an event when Google Maps controls are loading?

I know tilesloaded , but the controls seem to load after this event.

Basically I want to be able to capture controls through jQuery, but I can't find the right one even for listening.

You can see what events are triggered by pressing F12 in Chrome and clicking the Timeline tab.
