When Internet Explorer presents a warning screen saying “There is a problem with this website security certificate”, follow these steps to create a security exception for this website:
- Click Continue on this site (not recommended).
- Right click on page background
- Select Properties
- Click the "Certificates" button
- Click "Install Certificate ..."
- Click "Next>"
- Select "Put all certificates in the following store"
- Click "Browse ..."
- Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities
- Click OK
- Click "Next>"
- Click Finish
- A security warning will appear. If you are sure that the certificate is safe, click "Yes"
- A notification “Import was successful” will appear. Click OK
From now on (until the expiration of the self-signed certificate), you will not receive a certificate warning every time you go to this page.
If this does not work, you may have already installed the certificate in the wrong place. To remove an incorrectly installed certificate, open Internet Options, open the Content tab, click the Certificates button, find your certificate in one of the tab lists and click the Delete button. Then repeat the following steps.
If after this a failure occurs, there is a high probability that your certificate is invalid. Right-click the web page, select "Properties", click "Certificates" and double-check that the name "Issued to:" matches the domain in the URL bar and that "Valid from ... to" .. "the dates include the date, on which the client computer is installed.
If the installation certificate is greyed out , you must run iexplore as an administrator.
