Assignee in the Ji Workflow

Should I change the assignee in the jira problem when I change his state so that another person works for him?

It depends on what you want to achieve. If you use JIRA as a tracker that shows everyone what his duty is, you should change the assignee to the person who needs to work on this issue now. Since the assignee is allowed only to the person who is allowed to appoint, so there may be a marginal case when someone else performs this work.

Your workflow should reflect this. Therefore, when you assign a defect to the developer (because he is the one who fixed it) and the developer corrected that he changed the status that should be resolved, he should be able to assign the problem to the responsible person QM, who has to re-check the corresponding part of the application before closing the error.

The “Assignee” is the main person responsible for this problem. It is not necessary who should work on this, but one who should manage the progress on this issue. For example. if the developer corrected the error, the error reporter should check it, but it is not always possible that the reporter is accessible or sufficiently responsible (he can be a client), therefore, a QC person or maybe a support service should be appointed, which contact the client and be guided by the correction mistakes.

I condemn this use.

This may mean that you skip the workflow step (for example, "Waiting for a reporter") or the absence of a filter condition in the gadget or board or skip the reporter’s notification of a problem, approved / updated (or the reporter consider notifications as spam).

Correct the above and you will not need to appoint a reporter.

The reporter is the "client" of the task, and if he does not solve his task, he will not be the assignee.
