I have a text file with

want to delete all numbers in front of it. try to find and replace [0-9] already. did not work:/

Ctrl + F - Replace - Search Mode: Regular Expression
Find what: [0-9] +
Replace with:
// Replace With An Empty
Ctrl-H - shows the replacement.

Make sure "regex" is enabled.
Use ^[0-9]+
^[0-9]+
Note begging ^ is used to mark the beginning of a line. Delete it if you want to delete all numbers
use a search in RegEx (should be ^\d+ for numbers with more than one digit):
^\d+
On the tab switcher replace regular expressions; Find ^\d+\.\s and leave the "Replace empty" box.
^\d+\.\s
(Matches the beginning of a line, any number, period, space)
You should try to use this regular expression to remove what you want in the replace dialog:
^[0-9]*\.\ (.*)
And replace with:
\1
To search for numbers:
To remove only βdotted line numbers,β use [0-9] +.
