How to remove empty panels from eclipse?

I am using Eclipse 3.6.2. He acquired a couple of blank panels (see screenshots) that appear in all aspects. I would like to delete them, but I donโ€™t know how to do it. Hitting at a minimum or maximizing them makes them take up more space. Restarting Eclipse does not change them.

Thanks everyone

I donโ€™t know if this has ever been resolved, but I had a similar problem with Aptana Studio 3 based on Eclipse, and I was able to solve it without deleting / reinstalling or transferring everything to a new workspace.

I finally solved it by right-clicking on every available perspective in the upper right corner and closing everything: close_every_perspective ,

until all prospects are closed and you see a screen as shown below: no_perspectives_view .

At this point, you should re-open the prospect, and for me, at least, it worked. Hope this works for you and others who have this problem.

Right-click on the top panel of the panel (next to the minimize button) and select Close .

If you need more space for writing code, double-click the file tab of the file (file name) and it will minimize all panels and expand the area of โ€‹โ€‹code writing. Double-click it again to return to its original position.
