I am new here and I read a lot of your post and still have not found a solution to my problem.
I am writing an Android 2.2 application using Bluetooth to connect to an end device. I have a list of paired devices, and I can connect my Android tablet to each of my already known devices.
What I want to do is automatically connect to the end device as soon as the Android tablet (leading the entire message, by the way) detects that one of the known paired devices is in range.
One of the possibilities is to constantly interrogate and try to see who is next to me, but it will cost a lot of time for the battery, and if I go on a par with one of the End-Devices, and my Android tablet will not be in the middle of the survey process, I I wouldn’t get an automatic connection; I need to wait until the next polling cycle.
Is there any solution to the problem?
I would have it all worked like BT-Headsets, and it was convenient for me: - /
Thanks for your answers and hope we can handle this!
