Damn too annoying. You do not know which plugin / addon or something to do it ...
Therefore, we cannot find it too well. Thank god stackoverflow is here ... Here is the solution:
Press Win + R
Enter "regedit"
Go to this folder in the tree; "[HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ VisualStudio \ 10.0]"
Edit anything you want; "Documents \ Visual Studio 2010 \"
Last step; In the registry editor, press Ctrl + F
Find the line "Documents \ Visual Studio 2010 \". And change them too if anything appears ...
I suggest an advanced registry editor for this.
Good luck and best wishes ...
UPDATE
And if you still have a problem; open VS2010, go to "tools"> click "extension manager"> try disabling all the plugins (I mean all of them). And again play with VS, create a new project, etc. If a new folder (called "Visual Studio 2010") is created in the "documents", then we are sure that this comes from ide: visual studio 2010 (do not add -ones). In addition, if you use "subversion management software" or "sdk service", try also disabling them ... (with disabling services in OS management)
