Hover layout

Recently, I noticed a very strange thing at http://www.lua.org/docs.html - when I hover over links next to covers, layout changes!

I see this in Safari, but not in Firefox. Some people have reported that this also happens in Chrome.

The page passes the validator to http://validator.w3.org/ . The corresponding CSS is at http://www.lua.org/lua.css .

This seems to be a Webkit bug. Has anyone seen this? Any suggested fix?

Looks like this

hspace="12"

inside each img tag can call it.

<img src="images/pil2.jpg" alt="" title="buy from Amazon" border="1" align="left" hspace="12">

When I delete it, the jump leaves.

hspace deprecated. Perhaps webkit only partially supports it?

You are right @lhf.

However, I think I found it now. This is a blockquote surrounding images and links.

When I remove it from HTML, everything is fixed.
