Do I need to install Ant to run Maven maven-antrun-plugin?

From the docs : "This plugin provides the ability to run Ant tasks from Maven 2."

Do I need to install Ant to run Ant tasks, or does the maven plugin already include Ant? Thanks.

No, you do not need to install Ant. Maven will download all the necessary dependencies.
