Language not available in iTunes Connect

Question

I have successfully translated my application into Spanish and Catalan. Both versions (in addition to English) work very well. I am preparing a presentation, and when I add a new version of Catalan, to my surprise, I cannot select this language from the scroll down, although I was able to select it on Xcode while working on the translation.

So, how should I release the Catalan version ?. I know that I can choose Spanish and fill in the field with the Catalan version, but then I can not fill in Spanish.

Anyone here with experience on this?

In the "versions" section here, I assume that you are just talking about localization in one application.

If so, the user just needs to buy the application from the App Store, run it on his device, and if he has the Catalan language as the main language, your Catalan localization will be used.

iTunes Connect does not yet support the Catalan language as the storage language, so you cannot publish a Catalan translation of the list of stores, but it should still be displayed in the appropriate language on the user device. According to the iTunes Connect Developer's Guide , the following languages ​​are currently supported for localizing the application description:

The only way to localize your application in a language that is not available in iTunes is to create a separate application only for this country and enter information in that language. Not ideal, because now you have 2 applications that you need to take care of: one for the entire available language and one only for this language.
