Android Save Image to SD Card

UPDATE

Added

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />

for the manifest, everything works fine.

Okay, so I have an application that I started to create, in the end I want to take a picture that will then take you to another screen that will allow you to โ€œUseโ€ or โ€œRestoreโ€ the image.

When the image is taken, it must be saved in a new folder on the SD card (if the folder is not there, then you need to create it). I had it all, working a couple of weeks ago, but after I did some editing and closed the eclipse, I canโ€™t get it to work?

The section for this after int imageNum = 0; I added imagesFolder.mkdirs(); which is correct correctly to create a new folder, but even this does not seem to be working right now.

Now the image is simply taken, and no new folder is created, or the image is not saved.

You must make sure that the manifest displays the write permission on the SD card:

 <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />
