Open PHPMyAdmin, do not select the database and do not go to the Binary Log . You can select various logs from the drop-down list and click the GO button to view them.

I had the same problem with @rutherford, today the new phpmyadmin 3.4.11.1 GUI is different, so I think it's better if someone improves the answers with updated information. Full mysql logs can be found in:

Status β†’ Binary Log

This is the answer, it doesn't matter if you use MAMP, XAMPP, LAMP, ecc.

I am using phpMyAdmin version 4.2.11. At the time of writing my tab, my Status tab is as follows (several options are expanded, pay attention to "Current Settings", bottom right):

Image of Status Panel

Note that there are no direct visible β€œfunctions” that allow things like slow_query_log be slow_query_log . So, I went on the Internet because user-oriented answers will only be relevant to a specific release and therefore will quickly become outdated. So what will you do if not see the corresponding answer above?

As explained in the article, you can run a global query to enable or disable slow_query_log et al. Requests to enable and disable these logs are not complicated, so do not be afraid of them, for example.

SET GLOBAL slow_query_log = 'ON';

From here, phpMyAdmin is very useful, and a little googling will help you quickly and quickly. For example, after executing the above request, I can return to the "Instructions / Settings" option in the "Status" window of the Monitor and see this (pay attention to further instructions):

Slow query enabled

In phpMyAdmin 4.0 you will go to Status> Monitor. There you can turn on the slow query log and the general log, view a live monitor, select a portion of the graph, view related queries and analyze them.

If you use XAMPP as your server, you will find the log directory as a child of the XAMPP directory. If you have not tried XAMPP, which works on any system (Windows, Mac OS and Linux), find here: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html
